A Squash and a Squeeze Crafts

This week on the Crafts on Sea Facebook page has all been about A Squash and a Squeeze crafts and activities. Julia Donaldson’s book is a lovely story for kids about appreciating what you have and is a massive favourite in our house, telling off the cow for dancing a jig is part of our bedtime routine! Today I’m sharing the A Squash and a Squeeze crafts which I shared as well as a few extra which I thought you might like!

I love these paper bag houses from Kids Activities Blog.

The Craft Train has got a super cute tutorial for making houses out of toilet rolls. (We love toilet roll crafts round here!)

“Take in your hen…”

I’m a sucker for a free sewing patten and Red Ted Art’s tutorial for making these lovely bean bag chickens looks easy to follow plus the results are lovely!

We got our finger paints out to make these cute finger painted chicks.

“Take in your goat…”

Crystal and Company share this goat craft as part of their letter of the week series.

Fantastic Fun and Learning show how you can make a goat using different shapes.

“Take in your pig….”

Hodge Podge Craft has a lovely tutorial for making a pig watering can, great for encouraging your kids to do the gardening!

ET Speaks from Home has made these fab pig’s noses, I think these would be loads of fun for acting out stories at home.

“Take in your cow…”

Housing a Forest have made this lovely paper plate cow. I love how simple but cute this is!

Crafty Morning shares this cute tutorial on how to make cows out of toilet paper rolls.

    I’ve already pinned those REd Ted Art chickens. Just need to get round to making them. They’re such fun.

    We’re big fans of a Squash and a Squeeze, and love some of these crafts.

    What an inspiring collection of ideas! So glad I clicked your link on the Monday Parenting Pin It Party! I will definitely be trying some of these ideas out, and hopefully getting round to writing them up if I manage to make them work!
