The Night Pirates Activites and Crafts

Updated on 23rd October 2014 by Kate Williams | 2 Comments

Last weeks 6 Stories for Summer was all about The Night Pirates activities and crafts and I have to say it was one of my favorites so far! I love this fab book by Peter Harris.

The Night Pirates Activities and Crafts for KidsThese exploding treasure chests from Fun-A-Day look amazing and I can’t wait to try them out myself.

Anna from In The Playroom has also been busy making painting inspired by the night sky and her Starry Night Mirror Painting is a not only beautiful but is a great tool for teaching letter writing.

Star SlimeWe made some star filled sparkly slime to keep our pirates entertained and we loved it! Still playing with it days later!

Photo-18-11-2013-21-25-32I am obviously in awe of Hodge Podge’s pirate birthday cake. She promises it’s super easy to make and her tutorial shows you how to do it too.

This handprint pirate from Crafty Morning would be a massive hit around here, who doesn’t love handpainting?!

Nurturestore have a great post on creating a pirate map to help boost literacy, an idea that I love.

Have you read The Night Pirates? Let me know below what you thought of it!
