This fun summer activity has two options for you to choose from with a black and white design and one with a little more color. All you need to do is print out your favorite and start looking for sunglasses, picnic baskets and ice creams.

Summer I Spy
As soon as that summer sun starts I find that I want the activities that I do for my kids to be as low prep as possible and these I spy activities are great as a low mess and low stress idea that you can get ready super quickly.
In our PDF file you’ll find three pages to download and print. The first is a black and white design that’s great if you don’t want to use up too much printer ink.
The second design has a little more color to it with a colored border and the items at the bottom of the page all colored in.
Finally you’ll also find a completed worksheet as shown below so if your kids ask you how many flowers or drinks there are you’ll have the answers ready straight away.

How To Do An I Spy Activity
To prepare this activity simply print out the page that you want to use onto normal white printer paper. You can print as many copies as you like so it’s a great resource for preschools, libraries and classroom use too.
Grab your markers and coloring pencils and then decide which of the summer objects you’re going to count first.
Count how many of that item there are and then write the number in the corresponding box at the bottom of the page. You can color in each of the items as you find them too.
