At this time of year I’m always trying to think of gifts that I can make for family and hunting on Pinterest for handmade gift tutorials is one of my favourite ways to avoid the housework! All the tutorials I’ve included here would make great DIY Christmas gifts, but I also think they’d make great presents for birthdays too. There’s recipes, handmade toiletries, jewellery tutorials and handmade homeware too so hopefully something for everyone!
These fab bath bombs from Red Ted Art can be made by kids but I’m sure lots of adults would love to receive them!
I love Wolves in London’s tutorial for this cool lobster necklace.
Tea cup candles are a great gift to make and this post advises you on how to clean up afterwards too!
This chilli and cherry chutney from In The Playroom would make a great gift for foodies.
Bluebear Wood has some amazing ideas for handmade gifts and the handmade sugar citrus scrub and chocolate spoons are two of my favourites.
These wooden drinks coasters are a great gift for anyone who likes natural things in their home.
Mum in the Madhouse has some great tutorials for homemade spa gifts like this homemade sugar scrub. She also has a great tutorial for fabric patchwork plant pots that I adore!
This tutorial for a garden apron from Hellie’s Corner would be a great gift for any gardeners in your life.
I really fancy making this onion marmalade from The Gingerbread House, or I’d be very happy to receive it from someone else!
This teacup pincushion takes minutes to make and would make a great present for any sewing enthusiasts.
Finally I love the way that Mrs Blythin Makes has reused these vintage maps to make a handmade gift that’s great for men (although I’d love it too!)

Some lovely ideas, Kate. I’m frantically making at the moment (hang it, no I’m not, I’m blogging… ooops, well I’m supposed to be making gifts anyway!).

Thanks for including mine, lovely.
And just how good does that amazing chilli and cherry chutney look? Yum. Am saving that recipe for my next year’s cherry tree crop.
